Jumpstart Your Professional Career
With the AMD co-op and intern program, you can get hands-on experience that will give you a competitive edge in the workforce. You can put classroom theory into practice and get an inside look at AMD’s technical teams, work style and culture.
The opportunities for co-op and intern students are limitless. You can:
- Assess and refine your technical skills
- Evaluate your career objectives
- Develop a network of professional contacts
- Apply academic theory in a real-world context
- Get exposure to engineering disciplines nationwide
Here's how it works: as a co-op student, you alternate between full-time instruction and full-time work experience. This gives you a clear understanding of your chosen profession. Best of all, you'll be a part of the AMD family-a direct contributor to the development of technology that will make a difference in tomorrow's world.
In addition to the co-op program, AMD has internship opportunities in the design, technology development and business groups. We identify summer intern candidates early in the spring semester by working with the Semiconductor Research Council and faculty within key universities.
