Our application and recruitment process are customized to each country in which we hire students. We encourage you to browse and apply to our open intern/co-op jobs that interest you, best match your background/qualifications and align with your career goals. If your application qualifies to be a good match, an AMD recruiter will contact you for the next steps in the recruitment process.

If your application is a match, one of our recruiters will contact you for a screening call. If you are selected to move on in the process, the next step is meeting with the hiring team. If they determine you are the most qualified candidate, you will receive an offer to join AMD. Your recruiter will guide you throughout the recruitment process.

Yes. If multiple roles closely align with your skills and career goals, you may apply to more than one position. However, to give your application the strongest chance, we recommend focusing on positions that best fit your experience and interests. Recruiters review each application for every role and will contact you if your skills are a strong match.

No worries. However, you may want to consider joining our University Talent Community to get the process started by uploading your resume. Then, you can apply whenever you are ready. Make sure to follow the application deadlines listed on our regional pages.

The interview is an opportunity for AMD team members to get to know you better, and for you to learn more about our business and culture. We are generally curious to learn about your skills and experience, and we frame our interview questions accordingly. Be prepared to tell us about your achievements and how you could contribute to the success of AMD. Don’t hesitate to ask your recruiter for additional information to prepare.

AMD does not have a formal dress code policy. While we encourage employees to dress comfortably, dressing appropriately for a professional workplace is key. Business casual is recommended.

Yes. Your manager will evaluate your performance and share the feedback with you. As part of our commitment to interns/co-ops, managers are actively engaged, support your development, and provide opportunities for you to grow and develop.

The purpose of our internship program is to provide talent to contribute to the future growth of AMD. We aim to provide opportunities to return to AMD for a repeat internship or a full-time permanent position for top performing students, depending on available positions.
